The “Can’t Buy Me Love” star allegedly died from an accidental overdose of a deadly combinations of drugs, a new report claims.

The Greeley Tribune says the Weld County Coroner’s Office released the information Wednesday. Among them are benzodizepines, opiates, phenothiazines, and marijuana.

One of the drugs in her system – Gabapentin – was prescribed for pain and the medical examiner said she had 6 times the normal level in her system.

The coroner additionally noted in the report that Peterson was self-medicating with morphine to control pain and died of respiratory failure brought on by a “morphine effect.” She is survived by her second husband and two children. At the time, he said, “In my memory, she will always be vibrant and young”. “This was not, in any way, a drug thing”, she told ET.

Dempsey’s character, the school nerd, pays her $1,000 to pretend to be his girlfriend for a month.

The breakout role led to more on-screen appearances, mainly in straight-to-television movies. Peterson was discovered dead in her Colorado home at the age of 43.
