Doctors are planning to rebuild the chunk missing from skull of a farmer
A Chinese farmer, who left with a visible dent on skull after falling from the third floor apartment, is now hoping to get a cure – using a 3D printer.

According to the report, the farmer, known only as Hu, accidentally fell from the third floor of his house in Xi’an, Shaanxi province, which left him with chunk missing from his skull.
Doctors are now planning to bring back the actual shape of his head using a titanium mesh made with a 3D printer that will be inserted under his skin and attached to his skull.
However, this will be not the first time when this technology is going to be used, last week, Chinese doctors successfully developed and implanted a unit of artificial vertebra into a cancer patient.
