It is “an indisputable fact-that the lives of black citizens in this country historically have not mattered”, the Times contends. “And it is time now for good, law abiding Americans to rise up”.
TR: So what do you think of Black Lives Matter? Those that incited violence on the streets under the guise of protest that tried to tear down what NYPD officers did every day. “They’re feeling the assault from the president, from the top on down as we see”. As I look at the pictures of the many fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, and friends lost to lethal violence between 1995 and 2015 on the MPD website, I am deeply disturbed by how their lives have been reduced to $25,000 rewards for information, and confronted with the question: do Black Lives Matter…as much? “Nope… All lives matter”.
Now for the bad.

I just played the black-on-black crime card. Why? Most of the people who now live in terror because local police are too intimidated to do their jobs are black. Still, despite Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Kevin Jackson’s ridiculous comments, not to mention the conservative mass attempt to target the activists and blame the organization for recent violent acts (especially against cops), the movement itself has been primarily peaceful, staging demonstrations and protest rallies across the United States whenever a matter of police injustice appears to present itself. Baltimore saw unrest and riots after the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old black man who died while in police custody.
This is just nonsense and borders satire.
Elizabeth Holman is taking a visible stand in support of police officers, going all out for the slogan “All Lives Matter“.
I’m not saying that there’s nothing worth fighting for on abortion, or in the Black Lives Matter movement, or a host of other political causes. Both groups want a narrow conversation centered on inflated instances of racism. “It is an affirmation of Black folks’ contributions to this society, our humanity, and our resilience in the face of deadly oppression”.
We Americans have what others around the globe admire and desire.
A year after Ferguson, the country is arguing over slogans – Black Lives Matter v. Cops’ Lives Matter v. All Lives Matter.

Thanks, but no thanks. “Now tell me how that is right”. On the one hand, they’re likely to come under increasing pressure to condemn examples of anti-police rhetoric, no matter how isolated they may be.
