Alabama man wins $1 million Georgia Powerball lottery
Powerball is quite an interesting draw because there is a rewarding consolation in the form of $1 million for players who match all of the white numbers without a red match. The ticket holder had purchased a Power Play for an extra dollar, increasing the prize to $2 million.

The winning numbers for this week’s (Wednesday Sept 2), Powerball lottery jackpot drawing are in.
Lottery officials say players can win prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million for non-jackpot prizes.

For selling the winning ticket, Local Market 2 will receive 1 percent or $10,000 if the victor redeems the ticket. The prize goes to an estimated $133 million for Saturday. Steven Peloquin, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, won $91.8 million Mega Millions jackpot back on July 21, 2015, drawing. In March 2014, a York store sold a scratch-off ticket worth $1 million. Officials added “Peloquin presented the Mega Millions ticket for validation at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County”.
