For those who don’t know, Microsoft is now working on it’s first non-patch update for Windows 10, now codenamed Threshold 2 and was originally supposed to launch sometime in October.
Microsoft officials say the company’s goal is to see Windows 10 installed on 1 billion devices by late summer 2018.
Community funded software specialist site gHacks claims Windows 10 “slurps data like there is no tomorrow, especially when systems are set up using the express settings”. It could result in more subscriptions to Office 365.

The Verge commented that while it took six months for Microsoft to get 100 million licenses of Windows 8, it’s clear that the free aspect of Windows 10 is driving higher adoption rates. Among the most prevalent issues were inability to upgrade, inability to access the start menu, screen flickering and flashing, touchpad issues, lags, and page freezes.
