Having been barred from driving her auto after a DWI arrest, a creative Texas State student switched to a different set of wheels – a hot pink Barbie Jeep.

Monroe, an industrial engineering junior, reportedly had her license automatically suspended after refusing a breathalyzer while driving home from a Waka Flocka concert.
“Riding a bike around campus sucks”, she told MySA.com.
So feel free to enjoy Monroe and her pink Barbie Jeep without wringing your hands about what a bad person she must be.
She said she is enjoying the fifteen minutes of fame on campus too.
Her friends might not get to ride in the Jeep, aptly named Charlene, but they do get to bask in some of the glory.
“[The owner] asked where the little one was to test drive it to which I replied, ‘I am the little one, ‘” Monroe said. Its previous owner was a toddler driver named Charlene.
Sometimes, Monroe is even generous enough to let pals test out the luxurious plastic interior.
. What I’m trying to say is Texas State student Tara Monroe is maybe the antihero we deserve. “Basically, it was the best decision I’ve made in college, yet…” It goes about 5 miles per hour, is battery-powered and seems to be just as efficient as a bicycle.
Monroe will turn 21 in November and said Charlene will be part of the festivities.

“It goes pretty fast when it’s just me, so I usually make [my friends] walk behind me like parents taking their kid out to play”. The birthday girl plans to hit the town in her sweet ride for a party every 5-year-old would be jealous of.
