According to the report, this tiger, who was almost perfect in health, found in abandoned home at town of Chilapa, in south-western Mexico.

Some neighbors had explained that there was nobody living at the house for some time.

But the main confusion for the authority emerged when the owner of the house refused of having any caged tiger in the house.

Police spokesman Leonidas Bueno Escamilla said: “She didn’t have any food or water to hand, but we don’t think she could have been there for long because she was in good condition”.

The authorities are still busy in investigating how the tiger came there.
