Throughout his career, Dahl wrote more than 30 brilliant books, with his most popular being those aimed at a younger audience, such as Matilda, Fantastic Mr Fox and The Witches.

Roald Dahl will always be remembered for his witty, beautifully written children’s books, the author having created some of our most beloved fictional characters. Fans across the globe are celebrating on September 13 and throughout the year with the Roald Dahl 100 celebration.

To commemorate the much loved author’s centenary there are celebrations happening throughout the year including Roald Dahl’s Tremendous Adventures at Tatton Park.
