A demo for PES 2016 will arrive on consoles next week

Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 is still about a month and a half away, with a release scheduled for September 15, so this is plenty of time for people to enjoy the demo and get used to the new upgrades. The early release is probably a strategic move by Konami who are looking to gain an advantage their rivals EA this year.

Curiously, Guy-Laurent Epstein, Marketing Director of UEFA Events, stated the following: “We look forward to their newest extension of the PES series, created specifically for UEFA EURO 2016, further engaging with football fans in Europe and around the world”.

It’s nearly that time of year where sports games reign supreme and PES 2016 is one of those that will be part of the bunch.

Konami said the demo will be made available on August 13 on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Besides the confirmation of the demo version, the company also mentions that previously announced cover star Neymar Jr.is teaming up with Juventus Torino star Alvaro Morata to appear on the game’s global box art, which you can admire above.
