‘A Flying Jatt’s initial ‘slow response’ left Remo D’Souza panicky
“A Flying Jatt” had Tiger Shroff playing a superhero scared of heights and hence prefers to fly low rather than going high in the sky. The film collected merely 2 crores and stands with a grand total of 33.95 crores. The movie has so far collected around Rs 29.45 crore in box office collection, which is much less compared to what the star’s Baaghi earned in three days (Rs 38.58 crore).

“A trade analyst tweeted, “#AFlyingJatt Thu 7.10 cr, Friday 6 cr, Sat 7.35 cr, Sun 9 cr. In the global circuits, the Remo D’Souza directorial is said to have earned Rs. 4 crore in its four-day opening weekend.
The film collected Rs 7.10 crore on day one at the box office followed by Rs 6 crore on Friday and Rs 7.35 crore on Saturday.
Made with a budget of around 50 crore, the film is expected to fail at the box office.

However, like trade analyst Taran Adarsh pointed out, the spike in numbers over the weekend was good but not great and that “A Flying Jatt” will have to post bigger numbers in order to stay strong at the box office. Lukewarm response and not-so-positive word-of-mouth affected “A Flying Jatt” negatively. “Apparently, A Flying Jatt has failed to benefit from an early release on Thursday”. The makers have already made Rs. 20 crore from the film by selling off its satellite rights. Hopefully, the film will pick up in the coming days.
