Captain America’s 75th birthday already got off to a cracking start earlier this year with the release of the celebrated “Captain America: Civil War” – which is the highest grossing film of the year so far.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Marvel character, a 13 foot tall bronze statue of Captain America is being created.

The statue can be seen in the sketch that was revealed by the comic company boasting Captain America holding his mighty shield above his head while he stands over a pedestal reading his famous like “I’m just a kid from Brooklyn”.

Will you check out this Captain America marvelous sculpture? Marvel will track the statue’s progress on its social media, allowing fans to follow the statue on its journey.

2016 marks the 75th Anniversary of Captain America, and because being in the year’s #1 movie clearly wasn’t enough, Marvel has found a way of paying homage to the star spangled Avenger which will immortalise him forever.

Furthermore, Comicave Studios, which designed the enormous figure along with Marvel artists, will sell a limited edition of 750 of the replicated statue as 12-inch bronze figurines.
