A Gilmore Girls Revival Pregnancy?! Why An Apple Is Causing Crazy Speculation
The official Instagram account for the Netflix series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life came up with a photo that would freshen up the memory of the fans.

The caption said: “Pop-Tart appetisers to hold us over ’till the pizza comes”.
It turns out that she wasn’t pregnant at that time, but the apple has remained a significant object in the Gilmore household and the above platter looks suspiciously like something that Lorelai would give her daughter.
With Netflix poised to release new episodes, I’ve recently rekindled my love affair. But avid viewers know that the presence of an apple on a Gilmore snack plate stands out like a sore thumb, given how friendly to junk food their taste buds are/were. But does this new promo picture for the upcoming revival mean we’ll finally see a Lorelai/Luke baby? But in Season 5, Episode 21, Lorelai surprises even herself by buying an apple at the hospital where Sookie’s given birth…and says she previously only craved apples when she was pregnant.
The 153-hour marathon starts on November 18 at 6 p.m. and ends on November 25 at 3 a.m., which is exactly the time Netflix will launch the four new episodes of “A Year in the Life”.
It seems like Lorelai got hooked to late-night cable entertainment since she wants Rory to tell her if Amy Schumer could actually like her. Now normally this would not be a sign of anything except hunger, except I don’t eat much fruit. I’ve started again from the beginning, just casually (read: obsessively) watching while I get ready in the morning/work out/do the washing up. I know it inside out – its silliness, its running jokes, its two amusing, fast-talking protagonists.
“Because the world is changing now, I think that’s something that a lot of 30-something, very well educated kids are going through, because they’re turning around going, wait a minute, I did it!” They key symptom that leads to her paranoia happens to be an intense craving for… yep, apples.

Avid fans are surely familiar that an apple, at least in the Gilmore family, has something to do with being pregnant.
