It was a bad day for the lady who thought to get a hamster as pet – who caused hundreds of dollar loss in her car in an escape attempt.

According to the report, the 22 year old woman, Steph Phillips, was driving back to her home after buying the pet hamster, which she named Poppy.
But the hamster didn’t like this so started chewing the cardboard box to get an easy escape from the car.
Unfortunately, the creature got stuck inside somewhere – and the owner lady had to take the car to mechanics.
In whole attempt – the hamster had fractured her leg – and is now at vets – running up another bill for Steph – is recovering from an operation.
