A heroine is born in the first Wonder Woman trailer
The trailer, which debuted inside Hall H and was released soon after by Warner Bros., opens with Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) washing up on shore and encountering Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).

The trailer’s official description says: “Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior”.
The film follows the titular character, Diana Prince, in her origin story as she leaves her secluded island to help stop the first World War.
When Diana finds out about the Great War going on outside, she’s not happy, and vows to singlehandedly end it. This is all good news.
The Wonder Woman film will be the first superhero film in recent years that focuses on a female protagonist. Share your thoughts below in the comments thread. Gal Gadot seems ideal for the role; Chris Pine as Steve Trevor works better than I anticipated; and those costumes! It’s very easy to relate to her. Whatever happens in the “Wonder Woman” movie leads to her decision to stay away from man’s problems until she gets involved with Superman and Batman’s fight against Doomsday in “Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice”.
After an incredible performance in “Batman V Superman”, Gal Gadot continues to impress.
“What I do is not up to you”, she responds as she mops the floor with countless men.
The trailer of Wonder Woman was screened at Comic Con on Saturday, July 23.
This wasn’t the only trailer Gadot and her iconic character starred in over the weekend however.
Wonder Woman is scheduled to release on June 2, 2017, and it can not come soon enough.
