A new music festival is coming to New York City this summer
The announcement bills Panorama as “Three days of music, art, technology, and local food offerings”.

Named after a 10,000-square-foot-to-scale model of Queens located in the Queens Museum, Panorama looks to introduce “a new festival that showcases today’s top music acts”, Shulman said.
Goldenvoice, the promoter behind the US’ leading music festival Coachella, has officially announced the forthcoming arrival of the East Coast counterpart, Panorama Festival. The Panorama Music Festival will take place in New York’s Randall’s Island Park from July 22-24. In fact, when rumors of the new festival first appeared previous year, the team behind Governors Ball went so far as to petition the city of NY to disallow the festival’s original planned location in Queens.
Goldenvoice, which operates under the production company AEG Live, also has ambitious plans for another NY based festival in the future. However, rather than two weeks after Governors Ball, Panorama will now be held seven weeks later.
Shulman further said in his statement, “Goldenvoice has received tremendous support from the local community and elected officials who recognize the enormous economic benefits these types of events deliver to their businesses and constituents”.

In spite of settling for a less-than-ideal Randall’s Island this year, Goldenvoice will continue its efforts to host an event at Corona Park in the coming years.
