A pigeon was arrested in India on suspicion that the bird might be a spy of neighbor country Pakistan.

It has been reported that the pigeon was holding a message and a ‘wire like device’, when it was found by the 14 year old boy in the village Manwal, around 4km from the border, on Wednesday.
The boy then took the pigeon to the nearest police station.
They kept the bird in custody for further investigation.
A senior superintendent of police said “This is a rare instance of a bird from Pakistan being spotted here. We have caught a few spies here. The area is sensitive, given its proximity to Jammu, where infiltration is quite common”.
