A pregnant woman swam more than half kilometer to save her unborn baby
A brave pregnant woman in her ninth month, swam more than half kilometer to save her unborn baby’s life.

The woman, Yallamma Balappa Gaddi, 20, of Neelakantarayanagaddi village, India, decided to swim around 600 meters to reach on mainland, just to get medical facility for her unborn child.
According to the report, the villagers of that area were suffering from flooded land when water had been released by authorities from Narayanpur reservoir to Krishna River.
Then at that moment, the brave lady decided to cross the whole flooded region with her some family members to reach the mainland.
After reaching the mainland, she was taken to the primary health center in Kakkeri where the resident doctor, Satish Kumar Madhabhavi, examined her and found both mother and fetus safe.
