A teenage girl did an incredible opera cover on ‘America’s Got Talent’
America’s Got Talent went live Tuesday night for the first time in Season 11, and the show did so with more Golden Buzzer recipients than ever before. During Tuesday’s (July 26) episode, Brown upped her game for the live show with a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Make It Rain”. Judge Melanie Brown pushed her golden buzzer to advance Bretan, 14, from her initial audition on the May 31 episode directly to this week’s live shows.

Results of the vote will be announced live Wednesday at 8 p.m. on “America’s Got Talent” on Channel 13.
So who stands the best chance this season to win America’s Got Talent? The Golden Buzzer – which was pressed by all four America’s Got Talent judges (Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel), host Nick Cannon, and the four Guest Judges (Ne-Yo, Reba McEntire, George Lopez, and Louis Tomlinson) – delivered the buzzed act to the live shows without the judges having to deliberate over whether or not they were more qualified than the other acts. Up next is illusionist Hara whose stunning graphic effects and imagery impressed the judges.
Bretan, an early favorite in the competition, had tears in her eyes as she listened to the judges’ praise.
Musicality, a Southwest Side singing group based at Curie Metropolitan High School, has had a harder, longer road to Tuesday’s show.
The stern judge says that it is important for the contestants to feel proud and confident of who they are, at whatever age. Some of the popular ones who have become viral sensations are singer Grace Vanderwaal, contortionist Sofie Dossie, magician Jon Dorenbos and burlesque dancer Dorothy Williams.
Fan favorite mime Tape Face performed next, using Heidi and Nick as his assistants.
Laura Bretan – Mel B’s Golden Buzzer act. Dance and visual artists Sila Sveta performed next: Simon hated the performance, Mel B. had mixed reviews, and Howie and Heidi loved it.
