According to the report, the truck was made by the artists at Iceculture by using more than five tons of ice.

Actually, the artists had mounted the ice on the steel frames of the 2005 GMC Silverado.

The truck was driven for about 4km (2.5 miles) at speeds of 12mph and the team from Ontario, Canada, hope their project will be entered into the Guinness World Records book.

According to the Iceculture boss Heidi Bayley, they prepared this amazing design for an advert to show how well car batteries deal with the cold.

He added that the main challenge before creating this model was, keeping the ice and metal layer separate from each other because metal conducts heat.
