If elected president, Pence said Trump will put the safety and security of the American people first.

Gov. Walker praised Gov. Pence’s 12 years in Congress and work as Governor of Indiana.

“Mike Pence and his boss, Donald Trump, are going to find out soon that their risky ideas and backward beliefs aren’t welcome here in MI, and it will be the women of this state that deliver that message loud and clear”, Barnes continued.

“This will give our residents and friends from surrounding counties the opportunity to come here and hear directly from Mike Pence what his plans are to help Donald J. Trump make America great again”, he said.

Now the Republican presidential nominee is returning to MS, a state where he has a huge lead in the race for its six electoral votes.

Trump will be speaking Wednesday afternoon about 130 miles away from the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, where delegates and lawmakers are rallying for Clinton.

“(Pence) has embarrassed Hoosiers, signed divisive and discriminatory legislation into law and alienated the business community, costing our state money in the process”, Zody said.

Sen. Dan Coats (R-Ind.) said the speech saved the night after one-time presidential candidate Ted Cruz was booed off the stage since he didn’t endorse Trump during his prime-time speech. He’s publicly condemned some of Trump’s comments, while defending his endorsement saying he believes the Republican agenda has a better shot with him as president than Clinton.

But Pence said the choice is clear.

“It’s very telling that the first place they’re sending Pence is a region they should already have locked up 100-ish days out”, said Wisconsin-based Democratic strategist Joe Zepecki. “I love him”, Trump said.

“Mike Pence is a good man”. I love him. Where is he?

A collection of GOP leaders praised Pence, lauding his conservative credentials.
