AAA: Gas prices down in Ohio, could decrease more
AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel prices at 2,800 gas stations across the state.

On Monday, the price for regular gas in Broward County averaged $2.74 per gallon, down three cents from a week ago, seven cents from a month earlier, and 83 cents cheaper than a year ago.
Gas prices jumped over the past week across the Twin cities, pushing the cost of a gallon of unleaded over the national average.
Lower prices for oil are pushing down the price of gasoline, travel club AAA said.
Gas prices have been on the downward trend since peaking in mid-June. Jenkins said that was the first time oil settled that low since April.
Gasoline prices generally follow fluctuations in crude oil prices.
Prices “are likely to remain elevated until the repairs to the Torrance refinery are completed later this summer”, according to the “This Week in Petroleum” report issued by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
Last week prices dropped due to the Greek debt crisis and the announcement of an historic nuclear deal with Iran.

So far this hurricane season, Atlantic storms, which can disrupt refinery operations in the Gulf of Mexico, have not been a factor. Georgia prices have fallen 28 of the last 34 days. That’s nearly a dime less than last week and about 70 cents less than a year ago. On a 20-gallon fill-up, a motorist was saving about $17 a tankful Monday compared to a year ago.
