AAA Mid-Atlantic: New Jersey gas prices rise again

“There is usually a bottoming-out around Thanksgiving and Christmas”, but this year prices should remain lower for longer, around $1.80 to $1.90 a gallon.

AAA Mid-Atlantic said Friday in a report that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Maryland was unchanged at $2.18.

GasBuddy.com senior petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan said it’s a simple story of supply and demand.

Although OH typically has a sawtooth pattern when it comes to gasoline prices, prices have been consistently low and could be headed lower.

In Metro Detroit, the current average is about $2.18 per gallon, which is 17 cents less than last week.

According to experts, that’s bit higher from the national average, which is $2.16 a gallon.

The state is already seeing a few of the lowest fuel prices in five years.

This fall in prices could well see holiday travelers opt to drive to see family rather than fly, given the savings they’ll be making on the road, KAKE notes.
