Jatin-Lalit had recalled how Aamir Khan had insisted on many rehearsals before recording “Aati Kya Khandala” with Alka Yagnik for the 1998 “Ghulam”.

Aamir Khan doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned for his much ambitious venture Dangal which has been in the making for the past two years.
Dangal also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Sanya Malhotra among others and is slated to release on December 23.
“Aamir is excited about doing a rap number”. And the last time he crooned for a film was in Taare Zameen Par. Now the actor will be singing an entire song for Dangal. “But in this one, Aamir’s is the only voice”. The track has been composed by Pritam, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and will feature only Aamir at vocals. When the director broached the idea, Khan gave it a thumbs-up. “However, he wanted to rehearse before stepping into the recording studio”. Living up to his “Mr Perfectionist” title, Aamir has already begun practice sessions and is working hard to flawless the song. Pritam and Amitabh ensured that the track is all fine.

Khan, who plays the legendary wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat in the film, is also going to sing or rather, rap for the film.
