A week after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal admitted to having held talks with former ace cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu on his possible induction, his wife and BJP MLA Navjot Kaur on Wednesday said the family was yet to take a final call on joining any political outfit.

A number of top leaders had demanded action against Chhotepur and approached the party’s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal on Friday said that this anti-people and anti-Punjab party is hand-in-glove with the extremist elements. “Not only this, but AAP is also hobnobbing with the radicals since the time of sarbat khalsa (congregation of Sikhs) past year and has even arrived at an understanding with them to wrest control of SGPC and meddle in the religious affairs of Sikhs”. “Rather I will strive hard for the party”, he said. “Let them first prove to the people of Delhi”, Opposition Leader Pratapsingh Rane told media on Thursday.
The controversy surrounding Chhotepur comes as set back for AAP as the party is trying tooth and nail for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.
The PAC also chose to appoint a two member panel to inquire into the video clip in which Chhotepur was seen allegedly taking money besides several other complaints made against him on the similar lines. This party has come to fight against corruption and such allegations are treated very seriously.
The decision Political Affairs Committee has now been sent to AAP’s disciplinary committee. The leader said that he would never do anything which harms the party. Chhotepur had cried conspiracy and accused a section of party leadership of deliberately framing him.
She said, on the one hand, there is a leader like Capt Amarinder who risked his Chief Ministership to save Punjab’s waters and on the other hand, there are Badals who are bothered about themselves only. “I have paid from my pocket to Dalit crime victims”, Chhotepur said. I have spent 40 years in politics and no one can raise a finger on me.
Chhotepur is also said to have confessed to Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
“It is the volunteers who will decide whether I am a thief or a honest person”.

“It is unfortunate for Punjab (the present controversy). What he is doing to most Punjab AAP leaders is a part of a design to render all of them just parasites dependent on him”, Bains added. AAP won 4 Lok Sabha seats in 2014 general elections in the state.
