As Gossip Cop reported, Higgins was the second runner-up on “The Bachelorette”, finishing in third place behind Nick Viall and ultimate victor Shawn Booth. “I get that question a lot, 26 years old, people think that’s young”. While Viall wasn’t the most appealing man on Andi Dorfman’s season as he called her out on the finale, he did redeem himself on Kaitlyn’s season.

The happy couple are still engaged, and both have said they were rooting for Ben to become the next Bachelor. He added, “Everything leading up to this has just been incredible and I’m just ready to get started”. But like everybody else, most people are expecting that the all-American favorite, Ben Higgins will be the new bachelor. He was dapper in faded denims & a scoop neck white tee, which showed-off his biceps as he paraded the town with his leading lady.

Higgins also told Us in June that he was weighing the pros and cons before signing on to be the Bachelor. I mean, the guy literally offered Kaitlyn, the woman dumping him, his coat because he was anxious she was chilly!

Something of actual significance happened on the general waste of time that is After Paradise, as Chris Harrison (and guests) introduced Ben H.as the next Bachelor. “Ben, I would say don’t do it”, joked Amy.

The Bachelor Twitter account then shared a photo of Ben holding a single red rose, with the caption: ‘You dreams have come true, #BachelorNation! Will it be Ben H., the man who had his heart broken by Kaitlyn Bristowe? I still have a job that I’m focused on and I still have a life that I’m focused on.
