Several Boston media outlets are reporting that the fundraiser hosted at the mansion of vehicle dealership owner Ernie Boch, Jr.is an invitation-only event featuring live music, seafood and cocktails. The event is expected to draw hundreds.

“This is not a fundraiser”, Trump told reporters in Norwood.

Boch said the event had “started out as a fundraiser because (that’s) the usual thing for candidates”.

Trump has offered no public rationale for his decision to accept donations.

The group’s political director Christian Miron said he expects at least 80 protesters to show up wearing bright purple T-shirts.

“If that happens… very little business would be done in Massachusetts”, he said.

“I think that he could be someone who could put this country back on a good track again”, added Dorothy Dinatale, of West Rockbury.

Lemon still kept asking about the money issue, and Boch ended up saying that not everybody paid to get in, so it wasn’t exactly mandatory to pay the $100, and said that despite one to two thousand people being there, it probably wouldn’t be enough to cover the costs. CNN is bad. CNN, you’re with CNN?

Asked later about who was paying for the event, Hicks said the campaign was reimbursing Boch and that’s why they were taking money.

“I feel a little bit like, ‘What’s going on?'” he said.

Security at the event is tight – both private security and local police were present since Friday afternoon.
