AC/DC and Axl Rose coming to BB&T Center in Sunrise

AC/DC has rescheduled the rest of its American tour with Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose filling in as singer, including a date at Madison Square Garden now set for September 14.

The Palace concert is one of 10 US shows being announced this morning as AC/DC makes good on dates postponed in the spring because of vocalist Brian Johnson’s hearing damage. From there, the group plays shows in Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Columbus, Cleveland, Detroit, Buffalo, New York City and Washington D.C. ahead of the tour closer at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on September 20.

“Rose took over for Johnson last month for the European leg of the 2003 Rock and Roll Hall of Famers” “Rock or Bust” world tour.

Original tickets will be honored for all the shows and that refunds are available at the point of purchase, according to a press release.

Oh, sweet child of mine, if you want to see AC/DC with Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose this summer you don’t need to take a highway to Hell. Johnson’s condition was only the latest woe for the band whose guitarist Malcolm Young – brother of lead guitarist and band leader Angus Young – retired due to dementia.
