AC Milan president: We wanted Ibrahimovic… but Liverpool flop Balotelli will do

Twice against Palermo at the weekend Milan allowed their visitors a way back into the contest, with Oscar Hiljemark equalising on both occasions for the Sicilians, something which irritated Mihajlovic despite Carlos Bacca going on to secure a 3-2 win.

Mario Balotelli has courted controversy at his various clubs.

“It was a wise move not to buy Kondogbia at those figures”, Berlusconi said. “The starting point for negotiations was half what Inter eventually paid”, Berlusconi said.

“Ibra wanted to come to Milan, but they wouldn ” t let him go”, Berlusconi told the official Milan website.

“Here there are so many great players like Luiz Adriano and Balotelli and we give our best in training in order to be chosen by the Coach for the games”. Ibra is like me and is getting older. I have a lot of respect for Udinese and their coach Stefano Colantuono, but at the moment they are under a bit of pressure. Balotelli didn’t get a pass wrong tonight and God willing he really is a different Balo.

Along with writing off a £16m transfer fee, the club has also failed to elicit any loan payment for a player who is playing for the Rossoneri under the penalty of severe punishment if he steps out of line.

“If we play like we know how, by repeating our past two performances, we will make it hard for them”. I hope he can continue like this in future. I think he has reached maturity.
