AC Milan Supremo Confirms Club To Return Mario Balotelli To Liverpool
Loaned back to AC Milan during last season, the Italian giants have (for reasons unknown) opted not to make the deal a permanent one, meaning Balotelli is free to return to Liverpool.

AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi confirmed the news on Wednesday of Balotelli’s return to Liverpool.
Balotelli joined Milan on a season-long loan in August a year ago but suffered a disappointing campaign at the San Siro, scoring just once in 20 Serie A appearances.
“Many will be leaving because players like Alex, Mexes, Boateng and Balotelli are at the end of their contracts”, he said.
AC Milan are on the brink of a change as Berlusconi, who has been running the show at the club for the last 30 years, is set to oversee a takeover bid in which a group of Chinese investors will assume ownership of the club.
Balotelli’s desire to “leave Liverpool” will not endear him to Jurgen Klopp, and even if Sturridge gets injured again, harder-working players like Origi and Ings will always get the nod ahead of the Italian. “I say that in the hope it triggers something inside him and he can use his gifts to do personal satisfaction and rediscover this shirt”, said Balotelli’s compatriot Leonardo Bonucci. One of their conditions is that I stay on [as president] for three years.

Balotelli started Milan’s last two league matches, leading to suggestions he could remain with the club, but Berlusconi has signalled the former Manchester City striker will be heading back to Merseyside.
