The 88th Academy Awards – hosted by Chris Rock – airs live Sunday, Feb. 28, at 5:30 p.m. PT/8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

Gaga’s dominance, proven on this month’s Grammy Awards and to be ratified yet again at the upcoming Oscars, is often credited to her old-fashioned showmanship, comparable to anyone from Elton John to Cher to Bette Midler to Bowie himself.

Biden will take a bit of the White House to Hollywood to push an initiative countering sexual assault on USA university campuses.

Biden’s office says he’ll use his introduction to urge Americans to speak out against sexual assault and support the administration’s “It’s On Us” campaign.

Biden has always been known to be a vocal campaigner against sexual assault, and authored the 1994 Violence Against Women Act. Biden will be there to introduce the star as he highlights the issue of campus sexual assault.

Gaga’s Oscars ensemble brings together two silhouettes from Maxwell’s fall ’16 presentation – a long, very voluminous top with a sweetheart neckline and the wide-legged pantsuit that closed the show.
