Accidental Shooting Takes Place at Oklahoma ‘Muslim-Free’ Store
“You can tell a couple of these gentlemen have no idea about weapon safety”.

FOX23 cameras were greeted by men with high-powered weapons outside the store, as volunteers stood guard there after the owners claimed their sign elicited death threats.
Muskogee County Sheriff Charles Pearson, who visited the store Monday and Tuesday, said the unidentified man’s injuries don’t appear to be life-threatening.
“As far as the need to send armed citizens to protect this business, we think it’s really a shame they can’t rely on local law enforcement”, said Veronica Laizure, civil rights director for the Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
However, one of the men at the store accidentally dropped his weapon and was shot in the arm.
The store’s co-owner, Chad Neal, posted the anti-Islamic sign after a Muslim man fatally shot four Marines at military centers in Chattanooga, Tenn., last month.
However, the Muslim-free gun range owners took to Facebook to explain the incident and stated that the man was not a guard, but a friend at the establishment trying to help fix a broken door.
“I saw several of those gentlemen out there yesterday”, Pearson told muskogeenow.com. “I’m a veteran, I fought for that right”.
Hallinan went on to add, “I have a moral and legal responsibility to ensure the safety of all patriots in my community, and so effective immediately, I’m declaring Florida Gun Supply as a Muslim-free zone”. “It’s like the Clampetts have come to town”, a reference to the television program The Beverly Hillbillies.
Martin hopes that his showing up prompts dialogue on discrimination. The store’s owner later came and asked Martin and all news media to leave the property, Wright reports.
Chris Martin, 49, of Riverside, Calif., said he is a Desert Storm veteran who converted to Islam while serving in the U.S. Navy.
“We have been threatened, and my family comes first, before anything else”.

The owners closed up shop later Tuesday after an accidental shooting there.
