Acer announce world’s first curved-screen laptop
As mentioned, the Acer Swift 7 comes with a 13.3in Full HD IPS display, putting it on a level with similarly thin devices such as the HP Spectre – although its gold and black colour scheme does draw the eye much like its competitor.

With 7th Generation Intel® Core™ processors and dual NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 graphic cards in SLI, the Predator 21 X takes the AAA gaming experience to new heights.
This helps run the device using some clever passive cooling technology, as thanks to the super-slim build the entire device is fanless.
Small and speedy, top-of-the-line performance is delivered through a 7th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, fast 256GB SSD and up to 8GB of memory. The more budget-friendly Swift 5 €749 (£638), Swift 3 €499 (£425) and Swift 1 €349 (£297) will also go on sale in October.
Exact configurations, dates and prices will vary by region, but the Swift 7 is coming to the United States and Europe in October starting at $999 and €1,299 (which works out to £1106). In terms of battery life, Acer claims that the Spin 7 will last 8-hours for a general user. It will be available in EMEA in December with prices starting at €899.
Acer Revo Base, the latest member of the award-winning Revo family, encapsulates surprisingly powerful performance into a compact 1-liter chassis. But under the hood, this little system will be available with up to an Intel Core i7 Skylake processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of storage. The chips also support USB Type-C, native Thunderbolt 3 and native HDCP 2.2.
If you’re a fan of the Predator series, you’re certainly excited to hear about the 21 X, a brand new model that is the first notebook with a curved screen and integrated eye-tracking technology and state-of-the-art hardware.

The Spin 5 will be available in North America in October with prices starting at $599, and in Europe this September with prices starting at €599 (about £510). It is also developing cloud solutions to bring together the Internet of Things. Acer is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2016 and is one of the world’s top 5 PC companies. It employs 7,000 people worldwide and has a presence in over 160 countries.
