Both the variants have HD (1366×768) 16:9 LED-backlit display and are powered by the latest Intel Celeron mobile processors along with 2GB of DDR3L RAM.

With the fact that the Chromebook does not run Chrome OS, Acer seems to have had a dig at Google.
The Acer Aspire Cloudbook One comes in 11-inch and 14-inch versions. Acer is calling them “cloudbooks” because they tap into the cloud: You get a one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365, access to Microsoft’s OneDrive to store and sync your files online, and use of Acer’s own cloud-enabled apps.
Like the Chromebooks, Acer’s new Windows 10 laptops will also leverage cloud-based software, but from Microsoft.
Designed to enhance the Windows 10 experience, the Cloudbooks pack dual digital microphones with enhanced digital signal processing for better online calls.
Wondering when the Aspire One Cloudbook will hit the shelves? Following in September the Aspire One Cloudbook 14 will launch for an introductory price of $199 (about £127, AU$273). The similarities don’t end there, as both devices also have the same connectivity options: one USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and HDMI port each, along with a headphone jack. These aren’t the lightest machines in the world, however, with the 11- and 14-inch Cloudbooks weighing in at 2.54 lbs and 3.5 lbs, respectively.
The Aspire One Cloudbook 11 will be available in North America in August with prices starting at $169.
Acer has provided a full-sized chiclet keyboard and a large touchpad with Windows 10 gesture support.

The Aspire One Cloudbook 11 and 14 features 802.11ac wireless technology, allowing up to three times faster connection speeds, while eMMC configurations up to 64GB provide adequate storage for work and play.
