“We believe the Predator X34 offers one of the smoothest, most thrilling game experiences available today”, said Charlotte Chen, Acer America product manager.
Acer’s impressively-curved Predator X34 gaming monitor is coming to the USA, offering 34-inches of QHD resolution along with NVIDIA’s graphics boost. While we’ve seen G-Sync monitors before, Acer claims it’s the first in the United States to combine the technology with a curved display. “Nvidia G-Sync technology and up to 100Hz overclocking deliver extremely sharp moving pictures, while 14W stereo audio enhanced with DTS Sound enrich gameplay with powerful sound effects”. This helps avoid the stuttering and tearing that can occur when the display and frame rate fall out of sync.
In addition to curving its 21:9 aspect panel around you, the Predator X34 comes on a tilt/height adjustable stand. That can be tweaked for height across a 5-inch range, and tilted from -5 to +35 degrees.

The Predator X34, as it’s known, features a 34-inch 3440 x 1440 IPS LCD panel with 100% sRGB coverage, brightness up to 300 cd/m^2, a rated contrast ratio of 1000:1, and 4ms grey-to-grey response times. It also has Acer’s EyeProtect and ComfyView technology, which filter harmful blue light and reduce background reflections, respectively, to reduce eye fatigue. The monitor includes an integrated four-port USB 3.0 hub, a headphone jack, and a pair of 7-watt DTS-certified speakers.
