Acer Liquid Jade Primo (with Windows 10) will be released in December

Last month we learned of the Acer Jade Primo, an upcoming Windows 10 smartphone billed as a PC phone. While we already had information on the price and release date of the M330 (which is a low-end device), Acer didn’t say anything regarding the launch and price of the more advanced Jade Primo.

Acer Jade Primo will be sold unlocked and SIM free, but we don’t rule out any agreements with major carriers across the globe. That’s because Microsoft’s Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will both be released sometime in November.

As SemiCurrent reports, Acer announced today that the Liquid Jade Primo will be priced in the Philippines at 18,990 PHP (roughly $410 USD), although that doesn’t necessarily mean that it will cost exactly the same in other markets. First of all, the smartphone will be equipped with a 64-bit 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM. The backside houses a 21MP snapper with a Dual LED flash and the front-facing camera is listed at 8MP with an LED Flash. If you’re wondering what’s so wonderful about the device, you’ll want to consider the Acer Jade Primo specifications. At the moment, details regarding the battery of the new Acer handset are missing.

That’s a few pretty decent pricing indeed, especially if Acer will in fact ship the Jade Primo with a Continuum dock, keyboard, and mouse, as previously revealed.

We also don’t know if that price is the bundled price, but we shouldn’t have to wait for too terribly long to find out.
