Acer Liquid Z530 with 8MP Front & Rear Cameras Launched at Rs.6999

Acer India, today stepped into the growing smartphone market with the launch of its latest range of two smartphones models under the Acer Liquid Z Series.
The Liquid Z630s will be available for flash purchase only on November 12, for those who pre-register between November 5, and November 11, the company said. It is clocked at 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720 GPU besides 2GB RAM under the hood. Also on offer is 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
Further, the camera package is taken care of 8MP camera’s on both front and back.
The Acer Liquid Z530 comes with 8MP rear and front shooters.
Innovations such as Acer BluelightShield(tm) which controls users’ exposure of blue light from the screen and DTS Studio Sound claims to give high-quality audio performance for music and movies. The device measures 144×70.3×8.9mm.
The Android 5.1 handset features a HD IPS screen with Zero Air Gap and photo enhancements presented by Gourmet Mode for food photographers automatically adjusts colour temperature and style for pictures.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop with Liquid UI on top, the device will include an internal storage of 32GB along with a microSD card. It boasts 8-megapixel rear and front cameras.
Besides the aforementioned cameras, the smartphone also features a 2,420mAh battery, and connectivity options like 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 EDR. The above hardware is powered by a huge 4000mAh battery under the board.
The company plans to manufacture the two smartphones in India as part of the Make in India initiative.
“We hope to begin assembly of smartphones at our Puducherry unit by middle of December”.

Announcing the launch of the smartphones in India, S.T. Liew, President, Smart Products Business Group, Acer, said, “Keeping at par with the Indian government’s Make-in-India initiative, we are excited to announce that these smartphones will be manufactured locally in India”. The plant will be operational by next month, with a production capacity of one-lakh units per month.
