Activision issues statement about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 launch
Most gamers are annoyed by the fact that Activision priced the new release at the 60 dollars or Euro price point, which is normally associated with AAA releases, despite the fact that the game suffered a few major design and gameplay changes during the development process. Relive the past and the awesome music in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater’s Honest Trailer.

While we’re sure fans of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series appreciate Activision looking into the issues the game has had since its launch, it makes us wonder how so many bugs made it into the finished product.
Polygon has speculated that the game was perhaps rushed to market prior to the expiration of Activision’s licensing agreement with Tony Hawk. What is not normal though is for a release day update to be larger than the game itself as it the case with the new Tony Hawk title.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 fared little better in Eurogamer’s review, published this morning.
8 stages are included in the game at launch, although further details on the additional DLC have yet to be revealed.
