Trump’s appearance on the show has been met by swift and vocal opposition from Hispanic groups, The Wrap reported.

Despite the intensifying pressure, however, a reversal by NBC and “SNL” at this late stage would be virtually unprecedented. One features Donald Trump saying, “Let me just say this, Ben Carson is a complete and total loser”. Santos believes that Mr. Trump seemed most interested in spreading negativity and that it’ll be a an very bad idea for NBC to provide him with yet another platform. “This is different… If he had said those things about any other ethnic group, he would not be on that SNL”. Two children go on to say: “Yo, Trump”.

Trump himself speaks in another ad, targeting Iowa voters where he touts his track-record in negotiating business deals, says he will do away with “Obamacare” and vows to help “make America great again”. “They are bringing drugs, and bringing crime, and their rapists”, he said.

“There is nothing amusing about mass deportation”.

Trump is slated to get more “earned media” this weekend, when he hosts Saturday Night Live for the first time since 2004, months after launching his hit reality TV show The Apprentice.

Leguizamo told Yahoo News that he found it hurtful and insulting that SNL and NBC would have Trump on the show.

In media appearances this week, Trump has repeatedly stated what many suspect – that he was invited to host “SNL” because he is a ratings magnet. Heck, we’re even going to be podcasting this episode!

“I am so honored to say that I have spent less money than any candidate in either party and at the same time, have the best result – Number One!” he said. In the video, self-proclaimed anchor babies – kids born in America to immigrant parents – hurl insults and obscenities at Trump, telling the Republican presidential candidate, in part, “I’m an American, born in the USA”.

He appeared on CNN’s “New Day” on Wednesday, where anchor Chris Cuomo voiced surprise that NBC booked him. They said they could raise fears and lead to violence within immigrants and Hispanics throughout the country.
