Turkish President Recep Erdogan bashed the Obama administration Wednesday, saying its policy towards Syria has resulted in nothing short of an orgy of violence.

The U.S. ambassador in Ankara John Bass was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Tuesday over a “support” remarks by the State Department concerning the terrorist organization PKK’s Syrian affiliate, the Democratic Union Party (PYD).

“On the Syrian problem, which has become a part of our own domestic security, the time has come to implement our proposals for a solution, which everyone finds to be rational and right”, Erdogan said.

Reports about U.S.-provided arms found in Turkey with PKK militant killed by Turkish forces, suspected to have been transferred to the group by the PYD, were brushed aside by Kirby who denied the claims, saying the USA provided only ammunition rather than weapons.

Farhat Patiyev, a Russian official is a member of the worldwide affairs council with President Vladimir Putin, has told RBC “very tight cooperation” is needed among Kurdish forces and “foreign actors” such as the European Union, the United States, and Russia. You don’t need to tell us about the PKK, PYD or YPG organisations. Washington and its western allies however believe that the creation of such an area would bring them in direct confrontation with Syrian President Bashar Assad and his allies.

Lavrov said Russian Federation had made a “quite specific” proposal and “we will wait for the American response before we take it” to the larger group. “We have provided a measure of support, mostly through the air and that support will continue”, he added. It will defend the interests of the Kurds, who live in Russian Federation and Syria despite the fact that many of them are not the citizens of the SAR.

Davutoglu said late Saturday that Turkish forces retaliated against a Kurdish faction “that presented a threat in Azaz and its environs” in line with the country’s rules of engagement.

The cooperation between the PYD and the U.S. in the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has increased, much to the dismay of Ankara. “We recognize that the Turks do, and I understand that”, Mr. Kirby said.

Air strikes by the Syrian regime and its Russian allies have sent tens of thousands more people fleeing to the border with Turkey, which is already home to some 2.5 million refugees from Syria and hundreds of thousands from Iraq.
