Playing Bond has arguably been the career move that made the 47-year-old actor a household name, though Craig described pulling on the tuxedo and the gun holster as “a drag”.

His latest comments contradict what he recently told the Mail on Sunday’s Event magazine, where he said will continue in the role “as long as I’m physically able”. I’m over at the moment.

When asked by Time Out whether he wants to leave Bond behind permanently, he said: ‘I haven’t given it any thought.

“For at least a year or two, I just don’t want to think about it”. He also added that if he was to star in another film, it “would only be for the money”.

However, Craig says skin colour should be irrelevant when casting the new 007.

That’s not uncommon actor talk at the end of a gruelling movie. but then he double-bagged his reluctance by saying “I haven’t given it any thought”.

Craig is done hearing you cry about the lack of gadgets in the more recent Bond movies. It took eight months for “Spectre” to finish and Craig said it will be like “Skyfall” but only with more bells and whistles. Make it better, that’s all’. People want to know if he’s in or out for the 25th official 007 film and with each week, his answer strengthens or switches.

Did you always plan to play Bond for a fourth time? “Oh Christ no! How f**king sad would that be?” Don’t be s-t. You’ve got to step up.

Daniel Craig’s not one for beating round the bush is he? “This is really rare now”, he said. Don’t be shit. You’ve got to step up. Can’t you just imagine him, just off-camera, yelling “Don’t be shit!” over and over?

Let us know what you think about Daniel Craig’s statements concerning his future involvement with the James Bond franchise.
