“There is a programme on Zee tv, Jashn-e-umeed, they impersonated him (Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh) and showed him with alcohol and showed him dancing with women”. Why would I hurt anybody’s sentiments?
The actor was booked under Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of a community by insulting its religious beliefs, Krishan Murari, SP Kaithal, told CNN-IBN.

The premier investigation agency CBI was ordered by a court 2014 to investigate claims that Mr Singh forced 400 followers to undergo castrations at his ashram in Haryana, in order “to experience God”. The actor also said that it is the responsibility of the channel to edit objectionable contents. The look [on the show] wasn’t deliberate; it just happened to match [the guru’s looks]. It’s a coincidence, and it is unfortunate. “The FIR has been filed on him because he might have hurt religious sentiments of the people”.
