The meeting comes after Obama heaped praise on other Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and dismissed comparisons between Sanders rise in the early state polls and Obama’s groundbreaking 2008 campaign against Clinton. Sanders holds a three-point lead among men, 46 to 43 percent.
Meanwhile, Clinton holds an even more substantial lead over Sanders in SC, where NBC/WSJ/Marist conducted their first survey of likely primary voters.
