Actually, Fiorina DID Meet Putin In A Green Room
“I got to know him very well because we were both on 60 Minutes, we were stablemates, and we did very well that night”, Trump said during the Republican debate hosted by Fox Business Network and The Wall Street Journal on November 10.

The only problem: Trump and Putin were not even in the same country.
And the fact that Fiorina and Putin were thrown together in the green room didn’t seem deliberate, at least on the part of Fiorina.
Trump, who loves to talk about the ratings he got on “The Apprentice“, from previous debates and from last week’s guest hosting of “Saturday Night Live”, was partly correct about how the “60 Minutes” episode did.
Chiming in several minutes later, Fiorina took aim at the GOP front-runner and said, ‘You know, Mr. Trump fancies himself a very good negotiator.
‘Yes she met him in a green room, but not in a green room before a show, ‘ Fiorina spokeswoman Anna Epstein told ABC News.
Mrs. Fiorina called President Obama’s health care law the worst example of “crony capitalism”.
“I’ve met him as well”, Fiorina said. “Fiorina, at the time the CEO of Hewlett-Packard, was slated to speak before Putin – and when addressing the audience she was effusive about how Putin had led a change more dramatic than anything her own company had accomplished”. “I would describe him as a formidable adversary”.
During a fierce exchange on foreign policy among several candidates, Fiorina jumped in to correct Rand Paul, prompting Trump to ask, “Why does she keep interrupting everybody?”.
