Adam Boyes Becomes Iron Galaxy’s CEO
Sony’s former Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations Adam Boyes has joined Killer Instinct developer Iron Galaxy as CEO, having previously announced that he was departing Sony to return to game development.

Boyes replaces the company’s founder Dave Lang, VentureBeat reports, although Lang will continue to oversee “all prototypes and business development”.
Adam will join the team over at Iron Galaxy Studios in late August. In fact, Boyes hopes to use the relationships he’s built throughout the industry to explore new possibilities for Iron Galaxy and maximize the studio’s revenue.
Adam Boyes has taken the reign as CEO for Iron Galaxy Studios where he will help with the various projects that the development team will be taking on.
Iron Galaxy is perhaps best known for its work on Killer Instinct, and has worked with other companies to produce games including 7 Days To Die, Batman: Arkham Knight, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Destiny. Chelsea Blasko, director of product development, will serve as chief product officer of the studio.

In a press release, the studio highlighted Boyes’ experience with cultivating “deep relationships with numerous most influential publishers and developers in the games industry”, stating that they plan to have him leverage these relationships to grow Iron Galaxy’s revenue potential.
