Temperatures will warm to the 50s for a majority of the coming week, not dropping below 40 degrees for our midday highs. High pressure will keep us dry for the daylight hours, with rain chances increasing (especially for North Carolina) tonight.

The north to northwest airstream should spread over the South Island on Monday while the ridge over the North Island moves slowly east. Fog dissipates early. High of 9.
Monday will feel like spring, with a high temperature of 48 and mostly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with rain showers. Southwest wind 5 to 8 miles per hour. Travel will be challenging along the Front Range and in the eastern mountains late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
Localized, heavy snow showers that can rapidly reduce visibility are possible in parts of Dauphin, Lebanon, Lancaster, Northumberland and Schuylkill counties. Highs will climb to the upper 40s. We had a wide variety of weather over the past week, but it’s probably disappointing to end a vacation period with clouds and cool air. A warming trend will begins midweek as temperatures climb to the 60s and 70s.
Sunday: A chance of rain and snow showers before 11 a.m., then scattered rain showers.

Thursday should be partly sunny and cooler with highs in the low 40s. Chance of any serious precipitation is minimal, and I do not think we will see much more than a scattered shower or two.
