Adam Jones claims Antonio Brown faked injury, deserves ‘Grammy’

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones should be reprimanded for saying Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown “flopped” on the hit in the head he received from Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfect. “So I went over to the sideline and said, ‘Coach you can’t do that anymore, I can’t throw it that far.’ We knew we had to work our way down the field”.

Wherever the truth lies, Burfict, who is singlehandedly responsible for injuring the Steelers’ three best players – Brown, Roethlisberger and Le’Veon Bell – could begin the 2016 season on the bench.

Jones says Antonio Brown winked at him after faking a concussion from a hit delivered by Vontaze Burfict. And, when asked about a report that said several Bengals players blame Lewis for a “lack of discipline”, Jones wanted to know who the players were (they’re anonymous) and said “I don’t think no player said that”. He received a 15-yard penalty.

The Bengals appeared poised to end a 25-year playoff drought when they held a 16-15 lead heading into the closing moments of Saturday’s match at Paul Brown Stadium. Go back in slow motion and tell me Vontaze hit him in the head, or did his shoulder pad barely touch him?

After Patrick questioned that theory again, Pacman said Brown deserves a Grammy for his fakery.

“He deserved a Grammy Award for that”, Jones said. The Post-Gazette reports Brown was placed in the concussion protocol, but should “be fine and should be able to play against the Broncos”.

Monday, Jones was back at it over the airways with NBC Sports’ Dan Patrick.
