Adam Nimoy to Appear On ‘Big Bang Theory’
His appearance in The Big Bang Theory 9×07 will most likely put him in close quarters with Sheldon once again.

The CBS comedy returns to its regular Thursday slot next week, and to celebrate, Adam Nimoy will guest star.
The CBS show, which still has one of the highest ratings on TV in America, announced via its social media pages on Monday night (October 26th) that Nimoy’s 59 year old son, himself a television director, will be featuring in the November 5th episode “The Spock Resonance”.

Leonard Nimoy never appeared in person on The Big Bang Theory, but was constantly referenced by the show, and even lent his voice to a Spock doll in a 2012 cameo.
The 59-year-old Nimoy is expected to appear as himself in the episode when he interviews Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) as part of a documentary about his father. However, this week saw the famous comeback of Leonard-Sheldon duo after weeks of boring relationship issues big discussed on the show’s previous episodes. In addition, Star Trek plotlines and Wil Wheaton are usually good ways to draw a crowd.
Leonard passed away at the age of 83 back in February.

The documentary is not a fictional project which Wheaton and Nimoy had been working together in months and is set to be released on September 8, 2016, just in time for the 50th anniversary of the sci-fi series. Zachary Quinto will be narrating the documentary since he also played as Spock in two of the films, Examiner reported.
