Adam Sandler’s Ridiculous 6 is most watched film in Netflix history
But chief content officer Ted Sarandos has now revealed that the film has become their most successful commission. Everyone’s watched The Ridiculous 6 catapulting Sandler’s suckfest into Netflix’s most watched movie ever in a 30-day span. Sony executives may have not been fond of Sandler but Netflix couldn’t be happier with him.

Netflix is notoriously quiet about its streaming numbers. In the case of Adam Sandler’s latest comedy, Netflix tooted a very specific horn while bragging during their keynote speech at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier today.
The temptation to dismiss The Ridiculous Six out of hand is strong, mostly because the film in question is long, unfunny, peppily offensive, and generally disgusting.
“The Ridiculous 6…in the first 30 days on Netflix it’s been the most-watched movie in the history of Netflix”, said Sarandos. It’s beating out every original and every licensed film that Netflix has ever run. But Sarandos’s comments suggest The Ridiculous 6 has in fact been an unqualified success.
Still though, this is pretty shocking news for many who believe that Sandler’s brand of humor is out of date, and who saw his other most recent film “Pixels” under-perform at the box office.
Despite its designation as an extremely racist and culturally insensitive production (which Sandler himself called “pro-Indian”), not to mention its astonishing zero per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has been viewed more times than any other movie on the streaming service.

Many people, such as myself, made a decision to watch the first five minutes just to see if it really is that bad (it is).
