Adams powers OR past the Trojans

The Trojans fell short in their first road game under interim coach Clay Helton in a 41-31 loss against Notre Dame, but they’ll have another chance to make a statement this Saturday on the road against the Ducks. And that team happens to be the most annoying team in the history of college football:USC.

-DT Delvon Simmons is coming off a big game, with two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a blocked kick.

The victor between these beaten, bloodied and flawed teams with seven losses between them will be the South Division champ.

“We’re ultimately playing for the Pac-12 championship (game) and the Pac-12 South”, Kessler emphasized. The USC defense looked like it was playing its first game of the season, wondering where the Idaho Vandals were when they needed them most. “There’s going to be a tremendous amount of…” The Ducks are averaging an impressive 537.8 total yards in the last five games. The next week, USC routed UCLA, 50-0. After USC took a beating in Eugene and UCLA squeaked out a win against Utah, the “Crosstown Showdown” will be revived with a lot on the line this year.

He dissected the Trojans’ defense, completing 20 of 25 passes for 407 yards and six touchdowns – which were the most passing touchdowns ever allowed in a game by a USC defense – to six different receivers.

MI will close out the season with wins over Penn State (7-3), Ohio State (10-0) and a Big Ten Championship win over Iowa. The program’s response to adversity is not one of them.

It’s a tough time for college football fans who dare to think that a champion should be crowned with much more objectivity than a dog show. He admitted that the locker room after that debacle was “like a morgue”, and he also admitted he immediately anxious about a “hangover effect”.

No one – not Mora, not Stanford coach David Shaw – will deny that the 2015 Pac-12 season has been a slog. “I don’t really care about my individual success or what it means”.

To put it lightly, the Pac-12 burst into a thousand bits of fiery ember last week. He then went graphic with the popular cannibalism metaphor: “We’ve kind of eaten each other”.

The same could apply to senior quarterback Cody Kessler.

A month ago, USC fired their head coach and the rest of the season looked like a dumpster fire but now, the Trojans have a golden opportunity to play in the rose bowl game this season.

“I was just thinking like what if the National Football League scouts are saying, “˜OK, this kid is pretty good; he”™s got good numbers and stuff like that, but he”™s doing it against smaller competition. He’s never played USC. “He’s a special one”. But Helton said USC can not abandon the shotgun because it helps make pass blocking easier. “Blown assignments”, is what USC junior linebacker Scott Felix referred to as them. “Now, those guys are so happy”. They have not been the same team since losing star LB Mychal Kendricks at the beginning of the year and often displayed erratic play under QB Josh Rosen. “I was like, ‘Yes sir.’ After every series he was right there and we were talking about what was going on”.

“I thought the safety was gonna pick it off, and then Charles came out of nowhere and just snatched it”, Adams said after the Ducks’ fifth straight win.
