Adele calls Glastonbury ‘the best moment of my life’

Adele suffered an unexpected wind attack last night when she accidently burped into the face of one her fan’s in front of an audience of over 100,000.

Adele, who headlined the Pyramid stage Saturday night at the annual United Kingdom music festival, brought a superfan to the stage for a quick photo, which turned into an unplanned exchange neither of them anticipated.

The British singer told the crowd gathered at the Pyramid Stage that things had been odd following the vote in favour of leaving the European Union, but that she was happy to be in a place where people had come together.

The burp didn’t seem to phase Maria, she gave Adele another hug before walking off stage.

“You’re f* wonderful”, she shouted to the crowd as she ran up and down the stage. Adele apologized and blamed the unexpected burp on a “dirty burger” she had before the concert.

By NME’s count, Adele cursed 33 times during her headlining set.

When she was announced as a headliner some people doubted whether she was the right fit for such a big festival, particularly because many of her songs are ballads and rather slow tempo, however, her smashing set proved those pessimists wrong.

“Do you know how rock and roll I am?”

Flares illuminated the sky as the flag-waving crowd sang in unison when she launched into the chorus. I’m out of breath, I’m not used to all that dancing!’ she said, before cheekily adding: ‘Also an excuse to wipe my sweaty top lip’.

Later, after dedicating her cover of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love” to her late grandfather, she told the crowd: “It’s a bit weird at the moment, stuff that’s going on, for all of us, and we need to look after each other”. “I’ve been coming since I was your age”.

He commented: ‘She is an incredible artist who I admire enormously for her approach to life, her sense of fun, her innate style and her massively powerful and moving voice and performance’. She then went on: “That’s fucking impossible there’s so few of you, how about you lot at the back?”
